How good is the P & O cruise ship Arcadia?

We are thinking of a Mediteranean cruise summer 2006

P&O cruises in general have a reputation for being world class... obviously with this type of question you are mainly going to get opinions, but the majority of which is very good.

p+o treat the staff very badly, try another cruise company, any royal carabbeen, or princess (they are fab), or celebraty.
You will also find that (my mate worked on the arcadia) seen as thou the p+o ship are in GPB rather that USD things on board tend to work out more expensive than on ships such as carnival and princess which are in dollars, eventhou they are all owned by the same company.

Everyone tends to stick with one cruise line be in carnival, princess, H.A.L. or whatever because they cater for different kinds of interests i reccomend you go out and try as many diff companies as possible till you find one that fits you,
Quick run down
for party party party - carnival no doubt
older clientel and little more reserved (not really for kids ) - HAL
5* service the dogs bollox basicall - cunard (very nice ships)
For families, parties, quiet couples basically everyone - princess ( in my opinion the best line)
for yachts,in my opinin the only 6* service line-wind star
i could go on
basically find what works for you and enjoy, cruisin is ACE i miss it allot
