I just saw a dermatologist today for the same problem. In addition to using a moisturizer (and he said that any of them out there were fine, really), he told me to stop taking long hot showers because that dries the skin out more. This may be why your moisturizers aren't seeming to work.
He suggested 3-5 minute showers with warm -- not hot -- water and only using soap on the groin, the feet, and the armpits (unless you've been out in the mud or something). Sounds kind of gross to me, but that's what he said.
Good luck!!

CVS purely started out donning a line of skincare by utilizing dermatologist Dr. Jeffery Dover referred to as epidermis consequences the conventional value is approximately $14-$15 and that they are astonishing. I additionally agree that olive oil is astounding for epidermis this is a organic oil, no longer a petrol oil like vaseline, & won't clog pores. when you wash your epidermis in heat water prepare an extremely easy layer. Oil does not moisturize your epidermis, yet somewhat creates a barrier so as that the h2o your cells purely absorbed from washing can no longer evaporate, subsequently the cells preserve that moisture longer. do this formerly mattress, and use usual moisturizer interior the am formerly makeup application.

IMO, the best moisturizer for the face is Clinique's Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion (think it's their #1 selling product). It is a little pricey, but well worth it. For all over body, I love Cetaphil Lotion---it feels a little bit sticky, but as soon as it dries (1 minute) your skin really can tell a difference.... hope this helps!

Avoid Petroleum Products Petroleum products (ESPECIALLY ON YOUR FACE AS IT WILL CLOG YOUR PORES), such as petroleum jelly, baby oil, mineral oil and preservatives that are commonly found in store-bought lotions, creams and skin care products are foreign to our skin cells and clogging to our pores. They also attract dirt and bacteria and can become vehicles for these unwelcome substances. When our skin has to deal with this abuse everyday it ultimately weakens and breaks down the strength and durability of our skin and can cause an allergic reaction. This is very evident with the rise in skin allergies, dermatitis, eczema, psoriasis, DRY SKIN and skin cancer.
You should only use products that are truly "all natural" (read the ingredients) and organic, if at all possible. The only oil you should put on your skin, especially, because it is so sensitive, is organic, unrefined, coconut oil. And soaps dry out your skin even more, so you should wash w/ products that do not contain "soap" or any fragrance, that are non-comodogenic. do a little research, but trust me ... I've done the research myself & have very sensitive skin, and for health reasons, most importantly, I only use natural, organic products on my skin, body, hair, and for consumption. I don't even use regular toothpaste, mouthwash or deoderant, if it's not organic, and truly organic. Check out this website for starters: http://www.inspiredliving.com/organic/or...
I love Juice Beauty products ... they have a fabulous line & great moisturizers that are 95% organic and leave your skin beautiful. go to http://www.juicebeauty.com/
Also, for a quick, inexpensive way to moisturize, go to your local high end grocery store, like Whole Foods or Wild Oats (or a store like that) and look for (in the cooking oil section) Organic Unrefined Coconut Oil. I know you use it to cook with, but organic coconut oil is the only oil safe to put on your face. It looks like a white paste, but get a spoon, scoop some out & rub in your hands so it will melt (it only needs a little bit of heat to melt & your body heat will do the trick) & rub it all over! It's a fabulous way to glow & not ruin your skin!

I like Hempz Body Butter or Hempz Herbal Moisturizer. You can probably find them at tanning/hair salons.
