Driverno 1 drives 35 miles per hour and has 1.5 miles to go and driver 2 drives 45 mph and has 2.5 miles to go. who arrives first and how much time did it take them to arrive at their destination.

Driver 1 takes 2.5714 minutes to drive 1.5 miles (1.5*60 minutes, divided by 35)
Driver 2 takes 3.333 minutes to drive 2.5 miles (2.5*60minutes, divided by 45)

Driver 1 wins by getting there in about 2.6 minutes as opposed to driver 2 who got there 3.3 minutes.

if velocity = distance * time
then
time = velocity / distance
