Not really. But it can be frustrating to have to defend it over and over again from the same set of dull-witted accusations that people are obviously parroting from other sources. They heard these things somewhere, probably from a friend of a friend of a friend, so now they accept these newfound nuggets of "truth" as gospel. Had they bothered to do their own research, they might realize how strange some of these notions really are. People are very quick to cut down beliefs they've never studied, or criticize religious groups whose services they've never bothered attending.

It hurts my heart to know these people don't know the love of Christ yes. It hurts because they are where I was and I remember how lost and confused and unloved I felt. How pointless it all seemed. It amazes me how if an atheist believes I am wrong...that my believing in a God is SO OFFENSIVE to some. If I'm wrong...then I'm just a little born again christian who will die like the rest...you atheists will not even be able to gloat in the end...we'll all be just.....gone. If my faith makes me love others...give to charity....try to be a good steward and care for my fellow human beings and my planet. What is so horrible about that? Would they all prefer we all be like them? with out faith...empty...sterile? Sheesh...there has to be a motive that i'm unaware of. I would not with atheism on my worst enemy, yet some very kind and caring people are cursed with this belief system. I feel bad for them.

It depends. When I am right with the Lord, then I feel privileged to be allowed to stand for Him. Don't get me wrong- I need to ask for wisdom (James 1:5) to know that He will direct my steps, but I remember how I was before I was a believer, always looking for hyppocracy in people who stated that they had faith, or for inconsistency- and truly feeling that the cause of Christ was foolishness because I was not yet saved and that is how unbelievers view it, and then I dare not be offended or hurt, because He saved me even with all the hurtful things I said. Often I have to pray, and ask sisters and brothers to agree.
That said, I know it can really hurt. There have been times I was not right with God, and someone attacked in just that very weak area I had, and claimed it was a basis for their unbelief. I had to learn to put it in God's hands, and to remind the person that while I am not perfect, just forgiven- as that person could be- Jesus Christ is the example, not me. Then, I hurried to the Lord to give it to Him, and to ask Him to get the sin out of my life.
It can also really hurt when you love someone, and do not want to see him or her put up walls and be so confused about what you believe and who you are. I have had to learn not to be too quick to defend my faith with the first scripture that I think of, but speak the truth in love. Love rejoices in the truth, but love is also kind. I do not want to hurt someone in reply, when I want them to receive. That would hurt me, too.

No. Misguided individuals can attack Christianity, but those opinions don't result in discrimination or even violence against us, the way it can when people show thier bias against Islam. It seems like it must be a little scary for Muslims when they read what people generalize about you.

Yes, but then again, pain also reminds you that you are alive. And I do not mind defending my faith, since God calls upon me to do so, or rather, to provide an answer for the joy that is within me.

No. I am Buddhist, so believe me, I am a minority religion and have been attacked quite a few times. Although I do not believe in "God", I think that if your faith is strong, then you shouldn't let it bother you, after all these people cannot shake your beliefs away from you.

Satan is always attacking Jesus' followers, but we need to be ready at all times to defend our faith.
"in addition to all, taking up the shield of faith with which you will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. " Ephesians 6:16
"but sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, yet with gentleness and reverence" I peter 3:15

I find it sad that people are so ignorant they believe lies and stereotypes about my faith. I feel sorry for there lack of education but it does not hurt me nothing can shake my faith especially someone who has no clue what they are talking about. It makes me think "poor you, you know not what you say".
P.S i am a Muslim.

No. I don't need to defend what I feel in my heart. I will always listen to whatever comes my way and always make the highest effort not to respond in anger or frustration (I try really hard sometimes). Someone will always disagree with you, it's how it effects you that matters. Keep your chin up!

yes, I try to not let it bother me. To me if they do, they will get a mouthful! I will question their beliefs, tell them to quit being a closed-minded freak, and to be respectful, then to top it off, I would do missionary work on them. As much as it bugs me, and drowns my feelings, the more I will drown them in my beliefs, because it is very close to my heart. I have a testimony that I know is true, I know that God knows it is true, and I cannot deny it! So attack back, and shower them with your true feelings!
