WOW great question and confusing one too!! LOL! well i would say for some reason the guy was taking the girl for granted so he didn't love her in the 1st place like you figured but like i said great question!

Wrong. The fact that he is mean to her now just goes to prove how much he really did like her in the first place. He's lashing out because he is so disappointed. He's just making himself look bad by being a jerk, and drawing attention to how much he DID like her.

To me it means the guy has no respect for you and is making a jerk out of himself. Ignore him and it will go away in time.

Nope, it can be: guy likes her, guy is hurt by rejection, guy trashes girl so he can get over his feelings of rejection.
