How do I change the memory settings on it? When I receive a phone call, the phone will say memory full.I need to delete the memory on it? How do I do that? (I tried hitting the delete button, but nothing happens) Do not have the book on it! Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try not just hitting the delete button, but holding it down for 5 seconds or so. If this doesn't work, look for a reset button on the back or on the bottom. It's usually a little pin hole you have to stick a pin into to reset. Sometimes unplugging it and removing the backup battery can do a good job of resetting it as well. If none of the above works, try calling Thomson Consumer Electronics, which is who deals with GE Answering machines.
