Make the best of it. When they are there just dont fight with them listen to them ect... being a lonely child is hard sometimes its nice but then you get lonely no one to hang out with just love them and care for them.

Hello Amy,just be happy that they return in great condition,it is not easy for them to leave you i am sure and most likely it is harder for them to leave there little girl and go across the world away from you.try to understand it is hard over there in Iraq and they want nothing more than to come home to you and stay.Just be strong for them and for yourself.thank you for listening, yours truly chip.

I do think that it is a good think that there are dedicated soilders who are going to fight for our freedom and I know it is not easy for you but being an only child you have to just pray and hope for the best.

Well, its never a good thing when one of your parents have to go off to war and you can't see them. But try and remember that they believe in what there doing and there doing it to help protect America. Surely you have friends your age you can talk to about this?
