You pray! And then you do just that...you move on. Make yourself. Your heart heals with time and though it's hard to believe now, you will feel better later!

It's a very, very difficult process and I can tell you honestly that its going to take some time for those feelings to completely subside. One of the worst feelings in the world is being in love with someone who doesnt love you back. You are going to analyze over and over again why it didnt work out and why that person just couldnt see what you can see. Take it one day at a time, and what really helped me was repeating to myself that if it really didn't happen, then it really was not meant to be, no matter how much I really believed it was true love. It also helps to see new people, dont dive headfirst into a serious relationship right away, rather take your time, go on a few dates, flirt a little, and enjoy the affection you get from other people who genuinely like you for who you are. Let yourself be flattered. Dont dwell on the negative, because it wont get you anywhere. Believe that once you go down, you can only go up and that every failed relationship brings you closer to the one thats going to make EVERY heart ache worth while.

There's a OLD saying, If you love something let it go, if it doesn't return it wasn't meant to be. If is does return you were meant to be together. This is true in love.. You don't want to be with someone who doesn't have the same kind of feelings for you that you have for them. It won't work and you can't make them love you the way you love them. Pick up the pieces and move on. Yes it hurts and yes it's going to take lots of time to get over them. But in the long run you both will be happier...

Unrequited love hurts a great deal. But if you love the person, you have to move on. Sorry, no easy way. However, time will help you heal your broken heart.
Sorry it didn't work out. Someone else out there will return your love you develop for them.

If you really love them you would want them to be happy. So let them go. It takes time, but thats the only thing that will help you move on. get involved in a hobby or something like that to help take your mind off it.

Good question, I'm in the middle of a similar dilemma. The hardest part is convincing yourself to let go. Once you can do that, the rest will seem easy. Hopefully you two can remain friends. If you'd like e-mail me I think it would help to talk through our problems.

Keep reminding yourself that the other person does not love you. There is no benefit to a one way relationship.

Look for someone else. When you meet someone, that will really take your mind off of your old flame.

Take care,
Troy
