I have often wondered if this a marketing ploy or simply an oversight?

If you get certain kinds of hotdogs you can get them in packs of 8...I forget which ones they are. They might be the bun length ones but I am not sure...

40 years ago I worked in a small grocery store.

My customers complained about this.

I talked to the bread delivery person. And asked him the same question.

Next week his company offered to bring in 10 buns pack.
They sold out and my boss was very happy.

So I would suggest complaining to your local grocery store and if they say their helpless to do anything -- talk to a manger and let him know what you want.

If all else fails - go to an other store and talk to the manger.

So you'll have to buy more buns to use all your hotdogs. But then you'll have to buy more hotdogs to use all your buns, it really is a vicious cycle.

its a bun conspiracy that makes you over buy hot dog buns. I don't know what thier main objective is yet, but I'll figure it out soon.
