If you have already opted out of All your banks' sharing of information AND you opted-out of the credit bureaus' sharing of information, then it is probably coming from these mortgage lenders searching public records.
I'm assuming you own a home. This becomes public record, and even though you have opted out of sharing by your banks and the credit bureaus, the mortgage companies can still search public information. This includes the fact that you are a homeowner who bought a home on a specific date...it also includes how much you borrowed, since your property has been mortgaged and "liened" for this amount...which is public record. Now they would not have any non-public personal information about you, but obviously you will still get junk mail.

They are all opting to make as much money as possible from loaning money. My advice to you is get a small garbage can, tie it to your mail box and throw your junk mail into it when you pick up your mail. When it gets full have an enclosed space in your back yard and burn it, or buy a shredder for about 30 dollars to shred the junk and drop it in your regular garbage can.Good luck.

I get them all the time, they are desperate now with the downturn of the real estate market. They are putting all their effort into advertising since the realtors are not bringing them in business. You will still receive all that junk mail even if you opt out, it is a crapshoot with that.

your on several lists and databases ..... it will not stop.

ive found satisfaction by throwing the junk mail as hard as possible into the recycle bin. others of our friends bought a shredder and they like to hear it doing its thing.
