Wedding theme ideas?

I am have a September wedding ( in NY ). I am going for the gloomy red, orange, plum color reception. Any more ideas anyone can suggest to me for the reception centerpieces, bridesmaid dresses, bouquets, and ceremony designs? I don't know what color bridesmaid dresses to go for, champagne or dark red?

I would suggest putting the bridesmaids in red or Apple red. That way you can coordinate the orange and purple into the flowers and decor. Here are some pictures to help you.

Those colors sound really nice but I would spice it up with a couple splashes of autumn gold. That will brighten up the whole thing! The only issue with dark red bridesmaids dresses and red/orange/plum colors is that they'll all just blend into the background. I would go with a gold or a champagne bridesmaids dresses and add touches of the same color in and around your centerpeices etc. It doesn't have to be anything major, just like some gold filler-flowers in your bouquets and centerpeices. Dresses for the girls should be dark red, that way your dress will stand out more rather than blend it. Centrepieces with a large tall see through vase with red and plum colour lillies. Bouquets would be tiger lillies or callic lillies really nice and you dont need much, have the girls carry plum, and white ones wrapped up with a champagne colour ribbon and your flowers would be red and plum wrapped in champagne ribbon. Will look perfect, really nice!
