Advertising is pretty easy nowadays:
1) Tell everyone you know about it (and tell all your local shopkeepers if if possible)
2) Make and print a few flyers (use your favorite word processing software and use a few clip arts) and pin them to all the bulletin boards you can find (gym, church, ...)
3) Advertise online on the free sites: for example http://www.daycarebear.com

That's about it!

First you need to do research in the requiremnents of what is needed to start and operate a home daycare. Because you have to know what the laws are on how many kids to adult ratio you can have at one time in your home given the space you have. Then you need to create a business plan of how much it will cost you start, maintain and profit from you business. This business plan will also include how you would advertise, whether it is at your local grocery store or community centre. I also recommend that you take a course in child development or get your an Early Childhood Education diploma, which are obtainable at most community colleges. This commitment takes about one to two years depending on your State requirments to be an Early Childhood Educator (Preschool Teacher). I hope this information helps and I wish you good luck.

There are plenty of ways to advertise and they are easy too even a kid could do it if they had someone to teach them how. It's easy first make some fliers and go to your local gas stations or stores and ask them would it be ok to post some fliers outside like on their doors,or send it to your local newspaper they may charge you a fee to put it in there but if you want your daycare booming it is worth the money. Also spread it to all the mothers and your friends they will spread to all the mothers they know and recommend you to all the moms if they need someone to watch their kids. Stuff like that will get your buisness booming like crazy maybe a little crazy LOL ( You know what i mean like to many kids and stuff.) Hope your daycare is booming with kids b4 you know it...

There is a whole lot of effort and thought that goes into starting your own day care. You need to have some kind of degree in early child development. You will need to apply for the necessary permits to operate a day care. You will need to acquire a property, and have the property meet lots of stringent codes. You need to apply for an operating license that gives you the right to operate the day care. You need to have liability insurance that covers you in case of a lawsuit. You may need a restaurant license to be able to prepare and serve meals at your day care. I know a relative that ran into that situation with her day care. It takes a lot of work to get a day care up and running, but the effort will pay off if you persist. Hope this helps.

First you may need a license to run one. Find out what what other legal requirements you must meet. Then make you some notices with your phone number on it and post it on your supermarket's bulletin board and place an add in the local paper.
Good luck!

advertising is the last of your concerns when it comes to starting a daycare. you need to check with your local organizations and find out if you have to be licensed and all that stuff first.

i went to the website for my county and looked it up. u usually need to be certified and it will cost money. unless ur doin it from home. but i was advised to go to the board of health. also if you are low income or will be babysitting low income children there are plenty of grants available. millions of dollars worth of grants people do not take advantage of. look it up google it seriously. im doin the same thing. u may need someone who is qualified with a degree to be on the premises depending on the ages of the children you want to watch.
