I'm sorry to hear this is happening to you. Your parents sound very cruel to me. Honestly. A lot of it is psychological abuse but the beating is physical and is against the law. A belt to your butt is one thing if you really messed up but beating you? It sounds like they LOOK for reasons to hurt you. Parents are supposed to love, encourage and support their children, not belittle and hurt them.
I'd talk to someone you trust and explain what's been going on. You can go to a "Safe Place" (look it up on the Net), a friend's mom or dad, a library, someone at church (if you go to church), the police dept. or a teacher or counselor at school. You need to have someone help you through this. Best wishes to you.

I would definitely say that this abuse. It definitely is not normal behavior. Go to an adult you trust and tell them, but you have to be prepared to possibly be taken from your parents household and custody. If you have a close relative or family friend you might want to see if you can stay with them. This is going to be tough for you if you don't have anyone you can stay with because they might take you into custody of the state, like a group home or shelter for kids, while the case is being investigated. Your parents might be very angry at you as well, but you have to think about yourself and the abuse they put you thru, and decide for yourself if you think it's really worth it or not. At the very least your parents should have counseling or anger management. You are a human being and deserve to be treated like one. All the best.

This is the only thing I can think of to suggest. Do you have a school guidance counselor that actually counsels kids? (Some counselors just help with class schedules so that's why I'm asking). If so, tell her what you told us and ask if she would be willing to help you call a Family Violence Center in your county/area. If you can't ask someone at school that question and get help, then call the county sheriff's office or the local police station and tell them you need the phone number to the family violence center. Hopefully there is one in your area. Then call the center and tell them what you have told us. They may be able to help. Good luck!

Yes honey, this definitely counts as abuse. Hitting you, throwing objects at you, calling you names, and shaving your head are definitely abuse. It's not fair and you don't have to live with it. The head-shaving is particularly outrageous - your father must be out of his mind!
Pick up your local phone book. In the blue pages in the front should be listings for local and county offices. Find your local Children and Family Services office. Call them and explain about the hitting, name-calling, and head-shaving, and tell them you are in danger and need immediate help.
Or, if you go to school tomorrow, go straight to the principal, school nurse, or your favorite teacher or counselor. Tell them you are being abused at home, and give them the details. They are required by law to report your suffering to Social Services, and they will make sure you get help.
You don't have to continue like this, sweetie. There are people who want to help you... you just need to let them know you need help.

How old are you?
How did you get the money to afford highlights in your hair? Your parents were probably just upset because you didnt ask them for permission or their opinion about it. As for their behavior. It is appalling. Tell your counselors or teachers at school. They are trained to help you.

How old are you? Now that I've heard your side of the story (horrible grammar and spelling included) I'd like to hear your parents' side of the story.
