I have a tiny yorkie/peekingense mix and she is 6 pounds at least once a week she has these epipodes where she shakes for all she is worth. She is very smart we have tought her that when she wants more of something that she is too sit up on her back legs and lift both front paws up to her face (she started this on her own) also she loves too be held she is like a little baby, she come up to you and stands up and scratchs at your leg up till you pick her up. She will put her head on you shoulder and is very content. But when she has the eposides that come out of no where I dont now what to do She shakes and wants to be held are these panic attack? Sorry if I babbled. Thanks in advance.

You might want to ask your vet. Due to genetics, some breeds are more susceptible to seizures. Not to freak you out or anything! It's just part of inbreeding in the past causing mutations and such. But it also could be your dog gets a chill and shakes or may it is a panic attack. Keep good notes on what happens when she starts shaking and how long it lasts and when it stops etc. and set up an appointment to talk with your vet.

I don't mean to scare you, but I would really consider the option of seizures, not panic attacks. My toy poodle/pekingese mix has seizures as well. From your description of your pup, it might be the same thing. Ask you vet about the possibility of panic attacks versus the possibility of seizures. Your baby sounds very smart. Good luck. Hope this helps.

my dog got major panic attacks when i wasn't home. i found out from the neighbors. crating was the best solution. it makes them secure to know they have a place of their own in a big world. you start them out by just using it as a bed for them -- no use locking them in until they are used to it -- make it their own little place by putting their favorite things in and before you know it they are hooked. good luck.

That's weird.. Try blowing in her face so she will breath. Sounds like she is losing her breath!!!!
