Here's the email i got from anonymous@deadfake.com yesterday.

"Hi,

I just want to wish you a happy Valentine's Day, happy new year (year of the pig!), and happy birthday - even though the latter 2 aren't for another few days. I also want to tell you how sorry I am for all the awful things I have done in the past. I hope everything is going well for you and that receiving this does not upset you. If you ever want to talk, you know how to get ahold of me. If not, I completely understand. Either way, please take care of yourself."

today i got an anonymous gift on facebook and the message: "I'm not sure if my email went through, so...
I hope you had a great Valentine's Day and have a great new year. I'm so sorry for the pain I have caused and really hope this message doesn't upset you."

He broke up with me 2 months ago, begged me to leave him alone and wanted nothing to do with me.I dont know why he is doing this now and why use anonymous. what does he want?

thanks a lot!!

He probably used 'anonymous' so that you would open it up. Maybe he was afraid you would delete it if you saw it was from him.

His email was sweet. He is either very sorry and feels he made a mistake by letting you go....or he is just lonely and maybe having a hard time being single.

He is reaching out to you. The only problem is...when you break up with someone...the chances of there being a viable and long lasting reunion...is extremely rare. Too much pain and hurt feelings have eclipsed. None of us like to be rejected.

Maybe he is just extending an olive branch and wishing you happiness in your life. Explore your own feelings and maybe write back a thank you for his good wishes. Wish him happiness too. We should always do that when we break up with people, whether they break up with us or we do them. He wants your forgiveness it sounds like. If it's in your heart...then give it to him.

Best wishes.
