My bestfriend and I have been talking about how we like eachother. We talk about us and a relationship in the future. I am a little confused though, as to whether I like him as my bestfriend or more. What kinds of things can I ask myself to see what my feelings are about him. Do I like him more? Thanks a bunch!!
Happy belated Valentines day!

Happy Belated Valentine's Day to you too. I would suggest you take some time and think about your feelings whether they are like feelings for a brother or feelings a future husband. You could make a list of all your feelings and ask yourself why I like that about him and whether it could be something you could deal with in a relationship. I hope I was some help.

i think if you know him as well as a best friend should, then if this was going to develop into a relationship, you should be feeling the difference, without asking that question. You would feel it in your bones, your heart and your head. But if you think that defining your friendship as a relationship may help you see if those feelings are buried in the background somewhere, then i think you should take the chance. It may be the move of your life, but if the need to be with him is not that strong, dont wait too long before moving on.

You need to ask yourself can u see yourself with this person for the long hall, is it worth the loss of his friendship if things end badly? Are your feeling for him like ones u would have for a brother/father/uncle? I wish you luck in figuring this out, I know how are it can be to lose a best friend when the relationship has gone bad. Of course in any relationship there will always be a risk.

Do you think or know that you only want to be(spend time) with him? Do you think of him everyday (several times a day)? Do you only want the best for him, even if that's not you? Do you have a peaceful (for the most part) harmonious relationship. Are you happy and contented in the relationship?

If you have to think about it, you really don't want more. If you wanted more, there would be no question in your mind.
