I have not gotten married atleast partialy because I am extremely picky and I am always looking for that perfect someone. Every relationship I have been in I forced myself to go ahead despite the fact that I wan't excited about the girl. " She seems like a good match. I am being too picky," Now I am not going to settle but I feel I won't ever find what I am looking for. I do not know how to get past what might be too high expectations. I can't just tell myself to stop. I have tried to just stop being picky but she can tell when I don't like her.

There is nothing wrong to know what you want. As matter of fact, is quite remarkable that you are not willing to settle for less. Why wasting your time ?

You are going to have to start asking yourself, 'is this REALLY important in the grand scheme of things'. Sometimes people change some things about themselves by their partners example.If your 'pickiness' is superficial, you might need to start looking past some things that can't be changed. If it bothers you that much, YOU are the one that is going to have to change. That means that you're not going to let it get under your skin anymore. Concentrate on making yourself a better person. Someone that is not judgemental. Good luck.

Try to find someone that matches your type just a little bit then actually try and get to know that person. You might actually surprise yourself.

you should never have to force yourself to stay with someone.. when you find the right person it'll be perfect despite what problems she may have.. myabe u jsut havent found someone with the right 'defects' if thts wat u wanna call them.. when u find the right person it'll click and all their imperfections is what will make them look so perfect. goodluck =]

when you're 45 and still single, you will look back and say wudda, cudda, shudda. !st of all, no one is perfect, look at yourself honestly, are you perfect? just go with the flow, someone will make that difference in your life,
