You would think that Christians would want to go to Iraq and Afghanistan, especially without weapons, because they are not afraid of death and God will welcome into heaven. In addition, religious people getting killed is good for atheists because we would not have to put up with their attitudes. Oh, and I realize that the Christian mafia will report me, but it is a simple question. Why are Christians so afraid of death? And if they are not, then please go and do every dangerous job on the planet, because your soul is qualified and dying is not a problem for you, and certainly not for me.

Lover of Bible truth: You really need to look at the history of Christians. They are a very violent group who will murder on a mass scale those who do not conform to Christian's beliefs. Since it is always stated that the leopard can not change it's spots, so the same with the war mongering Christians, they have not changed.

beta fish: Wow, you twisted that one greatly. Typical Christian reponse, to twist anything and never use your brain. My question is that since it is so good for you to go to God, then how can I assist you in getting there? I wondered why Christians were not running to get shipped off, since it would be a good reason to get killed and go to your God.

for one i am a christian and i know that when i die i will go to heaven so, I'm not worried about what happens to me if i die, that does not mean that i want to go do dangerous reckless things because i value what God has given me, if he wants to take me i could have a heart attack or something right now, we all face death everyday, you don't have to go looking for it. On the subject of fighting the war in Iraq just because I'm a christian does not mean that i support the war, i personally think it's crap, but i respect the people who dying for yours and my right to say what ever we want,(which seems to be a detriment to society in your case). Your a very angry person and i hope some day you find peace. God bless you.

Christians do not engage in warfare. We are to be peaceable with all men, are to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us. This is what Jesus taught and this is the principles we adhere to. The only warfare we wage is against Satan and his demons. Also we take the same stand as the apostles did--"we must obey God as ruler, rather than men" (ACTS 5:29) If any government demand that we go to war, we must refuse.
2 Corinthians 10:3--"For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh"
Ephesians 6:12--"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places."
To Corona011----I am speaking in behalf of Jehovah's Witnesses and we are Christians who refuse to take up arms against our fellowman. If all people took the same peaceful stand as we do, the world would be a more peaceful place to live, and be united in worship.

You have us confused with Muslims. I think the vast majority of our soldier are Christians. But keep in mind this is not a religious war on our side. We are a secular society and I know no Christians that want it any other way.

And yet we don't see you lining up to go to Iraq either. If you don't believe that there is an afterlife, that your life ends and so does the soul, then what difference does it make?

I am not afraid to die. When GOD wants me to go I shall.
Otherwise suicide is wrong.
