Tomorrow is hubbys birthday. My idea for his present was a digital photo frame with pictures of the children uploaded and music the problem is I bought 2 different frames and each of them had a defect. Now I have NOTHING for his birthday and I can't even think right now what to get him. ANY ideas would be great. PS. This was susposed to be from me and the kids.

Have your kids decorate the outside of the frames to match, have fun with it, again its from the kids so he will love it even if it looks messy. It will mean more from him if it was hand made. Later on you could buy him something from you such as bubble bath and some massage lotion for later. Make him a candle light dinner with his favorite food.

if you are very keen on that idea (which ROCKS btw) then tell him what happened but the special gift is comming. Also dont go to the same store...it's likely that the entire shipment had defects.

You coud go to futureshop or something, and get him an mp3 player,
make a basket full of stuff, dvd movie, coupons for his fav restaurtant, chocolate, cd, gift certificates,
Make a survival pack, knife, flashlight

try things remembered if you have one they sell recorded key chains that you can record a message onto and you all can say something.
