Alright so there's this guy i really like and he likes me back. We've talked about it and agreed we wanted to do something about it. But the problem is i never get to see him and...well nothing has happened yet! I know i know.."be patient" right? But..i feel like if i let this go on alot longer he's gonna lose intrest because "we" never made the effort.

What are some ways i can get us together to hang out? I really wanna make this work..

How old are you? It depends on what you two both like to do. Ask him if he wants to go with you to play some mini-golf or something really casual like that. Or you could get a group of people together to go to the movies or something. That's a good way to get things going. By the way, this is not the 1950's, you don't have to wait for him to do anything. It's up to you just as much as it is him.

People who like each other communicate and spend time together. Neither one is a substitute for the other.

Here's the start: Write a ONE PAGE introduction for yourself to him (not a term paper). Ask him to do the same. Exchange and discuss.

You never get to see him? Sounds like "hanging out" won't work right now. Need to substitute some prescheduled dates or meetings when you can see each other. It won't happen otherwise.

You should tell him how you feel. It never hurts if you do. I doubt that he will loose interest in you. Maybe if for like 3 months you guys dont see each other or communicate, then he will no longer like-like you. You should suggest "Hey, how about going to the mvies? There's this one movie I'm dying to see, but I want to go to see it with you!" or "Hey, what are you doing Saturday(or some other time) night? I'm free and will have nothing to do! How about poppin into that Cafe on _______ Street?"

There is a funny paradox at work here|

If you try to get together with him, you never will|

Just do what comes naturally to you in life, without even trying|

If you and he are right, your coming together will happen naturally|

You will find yourself bumping into each other just by "coincidence."

But again, don't simply take no action|

Do call and contact him if you really think that it is the right thing to do at the time, but not to force a result| It is a matter of striking the right balance|

this is 2007 its ok for a girl to make the first move. call him and ask him to hang out. dinner, coffee, whatever. its ok to take the chance to make the effort. guys appreciate that. and if he rejects u then he wasnt as in to u as he said he was. i agree if u sit back and wait he'll lose interest. so keep him interested. go for him. dont wait on him to come to u. men are lazy, we all know this.

good luck

Honestly, this type of crap really torques my wrench, but you just need to make the first move. Then he'll end up being you prince charming and he'll never stop talking about you at work, school and all night binge drinking feasts.

I don't see you mention that he's making an effort. It takes 2 to tango. Doesn't look like he's as interested as he says.
