It isn't a Lab thing, it is a dog thing! I have a German Shepherd and 2 Westies and they ALL think tissues are delectable! The more used the better! They turn into dumpster divers to get them! I don't know if it because they smell like their favorite human or they are just that much fun to shred. Good luck though!

I have a little Yorkie and he races to the waste basket when we're not looking to get the kleenex, Q-tips, candy wrappers etc and takes them to his bed and shreds them. I guess he does it because he can. It's kinda funny but not funny to clean up the little bits. lol

my dog loves paper or Kleenex. I use Kleenex with my makeup and he will chew it up if I miss the trash can. Perhaps because it has your scent on it.?? or just because he likes to eat paper.

Its the scent he's attracted to, not the used part. I'd suggest tossing the tissue in a basket he can't get into.

They like the smell of the contents. Don't allow your pet to do that though, you might end up at the vet's in the middle of the night with a doggie in distress.

Because labs are adventurous, curious, and like to try everything. Just keep things out of reach, my lab LOVES butter and will do anything to try and get to it.

oh honey, be happy he's not eating used kotex pads! lol. they just like smelly things. some dogs eat it, some dogs roll around in it to smell like it. it is gross, but that's what they like to do. i suggest getting one of those trash cans where you press a tab with your foot to open the lid... at least for the bathroom.

well to an animal who usually gets, dried or mushed up meat by-products, snot tastes pretty good. admit it when you were like 2 and you cried and got some in your mouth, it was all that nasty. dogs like a lot of things we find gross. my dogs chase my son around all the time when his diaper is not so pretty.

My dog does the same thing, it's because that it has a scent on it so they think, okay it has a scent on it, it must be okay to eat. Gross huh?
