What a coincidence, this is what I am making for supper.
Buy a bag of THOMPSON'S WHITE PEA BEANS (dry), and follow the recipe on the back of the bag. Or you could look up the recipe on the internet.

You have to let the beans soak in water overnight. Then you add a sliced onion, 1 tsp of apple cider vinegar, 1 tbsp brown sugar, molasses, ketchup, mustard, salt, and some pork (or low salt bacon). Then they take about 5-6 hours to bake (in slow cooker or in oven). They are so yummy.

Good luck.

I did this once for a cookout. Everyone thought the beans were made from scratch - but they weren't. I just bought canned Campbell's pork and beans, put them in a nice bowl, added some brown sugar, bacon, mustard and ketchup. Everyone kept asking "who made the delicious beans?" I just smiled and said "I did." ;)

You cant make them quick from scratch. They are slow-cooked, which means takes time.
