I have had AOL all my life and just recently my dad People PC and I hate it!?!?!I cant watch Youtube or help out people on here cause its so slow.My dad makes plenty of money a year,hes a mechanic for the goverment(ok maybe not that much money like 45 grand a year)But still!!!We have Directv and without cable it costs like almost 46 dollars a month compared to the 22 dollars of Aol and 10 to PeoplePC.
How can I convince my dad to lighten up and get Road Runner High Speed Online from time warner cable???anything please.Thanks

If you get the entire cable/phone/internet package, it is much cheaper than buying all these services separately. Also, with road runner, you don't tie up the phone line. My brother and I bought a router and split up one line of internet (which is cheaper than hooking up 2 computers separately), so more than one person can be on the internet at the same time.

Do research on packages. If you can show your dad that combining digital phone, cable TV and Internet will save him money, than he might go for it. If you really want it badly, offer to chip in towards the bill either by paying a little each month or doing extra chores.

Talk him to going for the whole package. the phone/cable TV/ and Internet. It is cheaper, one bill instead of 2 or 3. And the phone line stays open so no one misses a phone call.
