People refer to this "agenda" like it is a plan to put all kittens, puppies, and children into a blender or something. It seems to me that "liberals" have by far the best intentions, morally.
also,
What is so bad about the idea of socialism? Is it not also well-intentioned?
Would these ideas interfere with god's ability to reward his favorite people with riches, etc (the same riches that would preclude someone's going to heaven - as I "understand" it)?

Your list is what I'm referring to. I wasn't trying to equate liberalism and socialism - consider them separate questions.

First off...it is NOT socialism. At least not how that word is used today. Capitalism made compromises with many realities pointed out by Marx...like running out of markets.....years ago.
What it is is, a saftey net for people who we don't want to die in the streets.
A way of preventing revolution and class warfare by trying to prevent or minimize uneducated and desperate classes.
A way of trying to be socially responsible to one another.
A way of giving everyone a chance to improve...you know...the American dream.
A way of preventing a new Economic nobility.
It is also a way of securing personal liberties and rights...like freedom of, and from, religion that others want to take away.
In short....most of the so called liberal agenda is in the interst of most americans. Most americans agree with most parts of the liberal agenda.

I suppose the Liberal Agenda would be anything not Conservative. They believe in pro-choice, the believe in gay marriage - things like that. I see nothing wrong with it, because I am, a Liberal - or a Moderate at the very least. Socialism itself is not a bad idea, it just is not logical. It does not work. People are the problem, not the system. I am a Christian, and I see nothing wrong with Socialism - if it worked. But it doesn't, and it won't. Again, people are to corrupt. Why would God care about the system of society? If He wants to reward you, He will do it anyway.

You can be Liberal, though after that you can't turn back!!, *I which this make an effect on you, and when I said "effect" I mean I know about Cause and Effect, the mining of this(I'm writing), is knowledge by all mean is armless, until you learn to use it, for the accomplishment of your own selfish purposes, and/or to convince others that is good to be in bondage, without said it!, like they are. Its not a bad idea to experience been Liberal, though I prefert to be free, and by been conservative I'm free, NMot 100% free as any Liberal will lovw to be, and have power to change everything in one moment and get all the glory, That to me a the percecution of an Impossible dream, that If I become I will have to begin to imposed fopr life into Others. do you see!, Not to get pushi, but is true, and know of course as a conservatived to the eyes of a Liberal I will need to contradict my self, some is true but, to say is never positive and its negative to feel 100% free> to me that isn't a contradiction, but is a fact. and I'm willing to compeared most all the fact's, do it and you will learn perfectly well, that if you aren't the scienist a/o the Inventor you can't claim you know the true if you where not there to see it become a/o begin. Just the same. listen, before you doubt, that is why I prefert to believed in what I can't see, because is inmaterial but I know why I can't see it, if I don't do, herculeans efforts. this is all about. "Cause and effect" but, prove it!!!!!

It is not wealth itself that condemns, but how one uses that wealth that is damnable. The rich are generally not satisfied with what they have, but are engaged in the pursuit of further wealth for the sake of acquiring it and hording it. God owns everything and he will, sometimes, reward a Christian who has been faithful and responsible with wealth because God knows that this Christian will use this wealth responsibly to further the kingdom of heaven. So, it is the intent that is important and not the object . God judges the heart of a person, not his bank account, for where a man's heart is, there also is his soul.

They have tried socialism. Ask anyone that survived how well it didn't work. Socialism is a nice name for communism! Ask the people of Cambodia under Pol Pot, the survivors of Hitler's Germany, or Russia under Stalin! They want to do away with the U.S. Constitution and all of the freedoms that we enjoy because of the people that bravely fought and died on foreign soil to keep war off of U.S. soil.

The problem with it, is that people want independance. I don't want government to control my life. If you have to depend entirely on government, then they control you. The Government is the servant of the people, not the master. If they control you, how can you be its master. How can we challenge government if they say no food for you? It has nothing to do with God. It has to do with liberty. Less Government is always better. Socialism doesnt work, it takes away the incentive for people to excell. It is the downfall of countries time after time.
