I luckily didn't get sick (if you're talking about the Peter Pan recall), but I freaked out when I noticed the jar I keep here at work had the same product number...especially since I'm pregnant.

It appears that the company recalled the peanut butter as soon as they could, on finding the problem. That's prudent.

I dont think you have cause for action unless your child is extremely ill, and maybe cost you lots of hospital fees. Or, is permanently injured.

Frivolous lawsuits are way too common, and in my opinion, should not be allowed in the courts.

Would it make you happy to sue?

If so, feel free. You can sue anyone you want any time you want for whatever reason you want.

If you lose, it will cost you big.

you'd have to prove that your child ate it before you knew about the recall - not after
