why do you figure my brother, i haven't seen for 19yrs won't respond to me? he won't even say "don't want any" "no thanks don't want to know you" "see ya don't want to be ya"nothing! why? i would rather read that than guess and wait for a response. i found him in august 2006,what do you or anyone suppose i should do?

Usually people react like that when they are jealous about something.Maybe ur bro has something in his mind which has happened to him due 2 ur mistake or nethin like that before u lost him and maybe due to this thing he's jealous of u or hates u or maybe its just becoz u got all the care and love from ur parents and he got nothin.Just think and find it out and solve it !

Well to really answer this we'd need more info. Why haven't you talked for 19yrs.? Was he adopted out or you? (my husband was and we found his biological mom and siblings just 3 years ago and he talked to them for a while at first, then went to visit with them for a week, we don't have much in common with them, and he deffinatly was better off not growing up with them, but after he met them the excitement wore off and he is just not good at writing and calling anyhow.... but he has his own life now, he is 37 and doesn't (require) a close relationship with them. I don't know what your situation is but that was/is ours.) If it was a unforgivable thing on your part, maybe he has just cut all ties to you?
Good luck really, I know being ignored can reek havoc on your personal spiritual wellbeing, you need closure and to move on but I know that's hard when you don't know WHY this is happening... but that is one of the burdens of being human....sometimes it is just best to let it go.

i would take it slowly. Send him cards to let him know you are thinking of him, write him letters and let him know your thoughts. You don't know what the underlying cicumstances are between why the two of you were separated do you? Don't be too pushy it could make him very angry. Eventually he will come around. I just found my biological mother after 23yrs and it took a lot to get her to speak with me. She just didn't want to bring up all the bad memories she had with my father.

He may not be a good communicator. He may not know how to deal with the situation yet or he may not want to. Either way the ball is in his court. You can not force him to talk to you. For whatever reason, he may not want you in his life. The only thing you can do is to wait and prepare yourself you whatever his reaction is. I wish the best for you.

because hes lived without you so long, its probably a matter of getting over the fact that you are his actual sister. People dont like chnage and i think thats what hes going through, im sure eventually hell come to his senses, and learn what a great asset you are to his life.

the same thing happened to me.
i wonted to have nothing to do with my sister.
then later on we became best friends.
