How long does hair nead to be for cornrows?

I'm thinking of getting cornrows and i want to know how long it as 2 be. And 1 more thing does it matter that im white

Lol well It shouldnt really matter . its neat to see someone else of a a different color wearing it , ive had cornrows before

BUT in order to get your hair done in cornrow its gotta be atleast
shoulder length.
no shorter then that or its a pain in the *** 4 them to do . my dads wife did it for me instead, so she told me bout it all.
If people stair at you that are black OR white when you get the rows in stair right back at em! people will look at you as a pretty sweet *** person for trying something differnt .,

You need about an 1 1/2 -3 inches of hair for cornrows. It really depends on who doees it for you. I used to braid hair and I needed 1 1/2, but I had a friend that only needed 1.

some people have short hair or long hair so as long u got hair u can get cornrows

It's best if your hair is at least 6 to 8 inches in length but it can be shorter than that if so chosen.No it doesn't matter what color you are because there are gels for different textures of hair.

Yeah man, but it's gonna hurt cuz it's still kinda short. Don't comb it excessively, that'll harm your hair. Try GREASE not gel.

I think it can be any length just not liek superr short. And you can get them if your white...everything is meant for everyone.
