Well, yeah, I've never been to such a party and I really want to look pretty and appropriate for the occassion as well. Any advice from ladies who've 'been there done that' would be great. Thanx :)

Something smart and slightly dressy, like you might wear to the wedding of someone fairly conservative...

When's it happening? My graduation was in the summer and it was so hot we all almost passed out - fortunately the ceremony was in a cathedral where it was fairly cool, or I don't know what would have happened! Have a look online to get an idea of what the weather will be like whenever it is... layers might be a good idea so you can add/subtract as necessary.

Garter and thong set. Or maybe or French-maid costume. At the very least wear a bodice or corset.

since its U.K, you should wear somehting Black. like a black sweater with well tailored jeans or pants, a long trench coat , some decent heels or boots and a scarf.
that way you can be chic and stylish and not look too different .
