The Pope Benedict the XVI Is a man of Peace. He was elected Pope after the death of Pope John Paul II Yes, indeed it takes education and time to become an able leader of the Catholic Church.

He seems to be just what St Malachy said he would be. That means there's just one pope left in human history. We're running out of time.
So what'll happen to the Catholic Church after Peter the Roman?

Well he's a very conservative catholic.
The Germans refer to him as the "Panzer Pope" and the Italians call him "God's Rottweiler" so that about sums it up well.
And those who question his past Nazi history... the catholics have no problem with the Nazis. In fact if you read some vatican and other religious articles from the time, the Catholic church officially supported the Nazis and their goal of separating/screwing the Jews!
One of the most telling things is that, while the Catholic church was still excommunicating scholars, scientists and freethinkers at the time, they never once excommunicated or harassed Hitler (Who referred to himself as a "good catholic" even days before his death) or any of the other catholic members of the Nazi leadership.

I think he is brilliant and very educated, but socially naive. As a pope, his people skills are very weak, but at least he thinks with his head, not his heart. He seems capable of learning, and I hope he can overcome his insular, xenophobic past. But time will tell whether he's capable of engaging the world or just circling the doctrinal wagons.

I have no problem with him, other than I personally feel that the current Pope is a bit too reactionary and conservative to lead his church in a truly progressive direction. However, the conservatives like his style of leadership, for obvious reasons.

He is the antichrist!
All who deny that Jesus is the unique Son of God
1 John 2:22: “This is the antichrist, the one that denies the Father and the Son.”
Compare John 10:36; Luke 9:35.
