You wouldn't

That is an impossible task. You will only believe something if you think it is a viable option. If you were in two minds about something, then that would be a totally different matter, and you would seek out people and information to sway you one way or the other. I hope you dont mean you think something is impossible because you have a closed mind to new ideas, because that would totally limit your experiences in life.....anything is possible actually and when you can believe this way you will be more tolerant of people with different ideas. Keep an open mind and something you once thought of as impossible may just become a reality. I didnt think it was possible for a mere female to tear a car door off, but there have been a lot of reported cases where people have superhuman strength in the face of adversity. All I can say is, dont close off your mind because you will miss the person or the circumstance that may make you become a believer.

It's impossible to force yourself to believe in something that you don't. Be true to your beliefs, and have an open heart aboout things so you can choose wether or not to believe in them.

The impossible happens everyday. You choose to believe or not, you can ask God to help you understand the "impossible".

Try to think outside the box. All things are possible to God. He does not follow standard rules. The Bible tells us His ways are not our ways!

A trip to room 101 might turn out to be handy!

But seriously, who asked you to believe?

"Always we shall have the heretic here at our mercy, screaming with pain, broken up, contemptible— and in the end utterly penitent, saved from himself, crawling to our feet of his own accord. That is the world that we are preparing, Winston"

Obviously you can't. There's a knock on your door, you have a choice to open it or leave it closed. If you open it, you're going to be given a gift. Leave it closed, you get nothing. It's up to you, but God will not force you. No one can force you.

You see this is a great question. As human beings, it's natural that we want to use reason for everything that goes on, and if scholastic reasoning doesn't prove the thing, we want to disprove it. In my opinion, one must simply come to the conclusion that it is impossible for us to know everything and prove everything with reason. In addition, we refuse to trust someone, God, to provide for us, and be our all because society has taught us that we need to do it ourselves. Jesus Christ is real, and the Bible is to. To trust him, is to live, to live for Him is to live, and to deny Him is to accept death. Hope this helps a tad bit

I've forced myself to believe that I like my job. I look at the homeless on my way to work...and convince myself of that.

You can't....

If you're speaking about God then it is the Holy Spirit that has to penetrate your mind, body and soul in order for you to believe.
