How do you tell your fiancé's 3 kids by his ex-wife without them freaking out too bad. Me and him have been together 2 and a half years and so the kids are well used to me. Oh and we were supposed to be getting married on Nov 1st this year (but this will now be brought forward) so they know we are in a committed relationship. The kids are almost 4, 8 and 10....

You do it up front and honest. Sit them down maybe ask their opinion on having a sibling and then tell them. They may freak, who knows until you tell them.

Good luck

If you've been with him nearly 3 years iam sure you have SOME sort of relationship with his ex. Just call her up and talk to her about it. Let her know its important to you and him that the kids are okay with this news and that they are part of their brother or sisters life.

If you have visitation rights with the children I would include them in on the ultrasounds, and some of the doctors visits (where they can hear the heartbeat), so they can feel included, and understand that a real sibling is growing inside you. It will help them look forward to it.

You'll figure something out.

Just tell them they are going to soon have another sibling. Make sure to tell your fiance's ex (or have him do it depending on how things are between everyone) too or she's going to hear it from her kids.

When the kids are with you both i'd announce the good news, letting them know they are going to be big brothers and sisters. Call their mum and explain you news! Congratulations.

HE SHOULD TELL THEM.

They are his kids and his ex wife.
He needs to tell them on his own.
