Yes I have in the past, and I will again in the future. Right now I'm studying translation and ancient documents. I'm not just a "bible tells me so" believer.
Not all nuts fit in the same nutshell, so steer clear of gerneralizations and you'll have better dialogues. Oh yes, and feel free to ignore the nuts that never leave thier shell and know nothing of the outside world.

I try to learn a little bit about them. Im not going to do an indepth study into something that I know is wrong. But, having some knowledge, and usually it doesn't take much, allows me to see the flaws of other religions. The Bible is a big book, I would rather spend my time studying the Bible than false religions.

One, most non-Christians don't "even attempt" to learn about Christianity. Two, most people don't "even attempt" to learn what THEIR OWN religions believe in (Christianity included).
I don't know one person who has actually read the entire Bible, besides myself. I also find it rather strange that in the vast majority of instances where someone cites to the Bible, they misquote it or take it out of context. And, that's non-Christians and Christians included.
Interestingly, though, reading the Bible is not a requirement for salvation, nor is properly understandinig it.

I've actually seen quite a few Christians deny learning anything at all that might be against their god. Even if its just for knowledges sake.
Unfortunately, there are very few of them that actually do bother to become educated because, remember, anything that isn't Christian is Satanic according to the bible.
Its disturbing.

i don't think there are many christians who say anything positive about any other religion then there's hell i have an open question to christians to name me some negatives as well as positives about the different religions and they are struggling to do so it's kind of pathetic it's like they don't have anything nice to say i don't know how they can live their lives in such negativity

Of course I learn about other religions. I used to be into Wicca.
I've studied Islam, LDS, hindu, JW, Pagan, Native American, astrology, etc...They've all increased my Faith in God!
