everynight for the past 4 weeks she has been acting very wierd...she comes home late everynight and claims she was busy at work.. we dont talk as much anymore and I feel like we are very distant from each other...it seems like she is more like a roommate than my girl...anyhow, recently things got worse.. she has been getting dropped off when she returns home..I confronted her and she claims that it was her project partner from work, which I dont believe....I am a very good friend with her project partner and dont think he will do such a thing...I know what car he drives (BMW 5 series) so I have to found out the truth myself.....last night I hid behind my 300zx which was parked on my driveway and waited for her arrival..after 40 minutes I heard a car slowly pull into my driveway and that is when I noticed some rusting on the undercarriage of my 300zx's rear left fender...I just need to know whether the rust will buff right off or I need to bring it into a body shop?

Oh may god forget about you GF and her project partner/ F**f buddy and take care of the rust situation or that will just mess your life up. I know Igot rust on my car and I am still trying to recover. God bless you and good luck.

You got some problems - worry about the car first though, it will last a lot longer than your relationship with your girl... who is cheating. I would take to the body shop, you do not want to ruin your paint job.

Rust is pretty bad. You need to take it in to the body shop and have them sand it and put fiber glass (kitty hair) on it and make sure it doesn't spread. I thought the 300ZX was made entirely of fiberglass...hmm....funny.

for the car: try buffing and then take it to the body shop if that doesnt work.

for the girl: confront her about it again. tell her everything you just told us... you guys obviously have some problems you need to work through... trust being one of them.

best of luck... with the car and the girl.

Unclear on how to answer this. Is the question about your girlfriend or the rust on your vehicle.

Yeah, that question maintains the standard here. Maybe even a little more mature than most, LOL.
