I see so many evolutionists bashing creationists about their beliefs, and then they fight vigorously to get everyone to believe that evolution is a fact. I know that if I was a evolutionist, I certainly would not be wasting my time disproving other peoples beliefs while I go through my short evolutionary phase of 70 or 80 years with no hope of anything else. I do feel sorry for them....I am sure the ignorant, and the unintelligent, and the stupid remarks will show up as soon as I post this, but the question remains, why would you bother, you have to have something better to do than be on yahoo answers,,,,,stop wasting the 70 years, you will be a fossil soon

It seams to me, than because the evolution process is so basic, in the material world, this Guy's are trying to confuse the rest of us, by making believed that Satan also works as God do, "In mysterious way's". and they can't just not dismiss it.<< sorry Lord I'm tire of non-senses. they are wrong because the Children's will own the world, so to have the right evolution they need to grow smarted, and not by fallowing what some pass and already death evolutionist said, and left behind for others to prove it How???, If evolution will begin again from the Children's, and there is nothing else we can do, but help then to believed. If not there it goes your my own and the evolutionist future. Socrates was wrong?, Buddha was also Jesus never existed, so what in hell is the Dali lama doing to day, in India trying to come back to Tibet.

The reason I bother trying to teach Evolution is the same reason you feel it is necessary to teach Religion. We are both trying to save people.

Yes, I could be using my time for other things than trying to convince people about evolution. But what I am doing is trying to make people realize that they should enjoy the short time they have on Earth, rather than only looking forward to Heaven. You devote at least 1/7 of your life to nothing but listening to and preaching religion, and I'm just trying to show you that you could be doing something more useful with your time.

You, on the other hand, are trying to save people from an eternity in Hell if they don't live their life according to God. In your view, what does a mere 80 years amount to in the grand scheme of things.

We're not so different after all. We're all just trying to help people.

Dude. Evolution is just a theory. DUH. That's how science works. They state a problem, form a hypothesis, test it, etc., until they eventually come up with a theory. If the theory ever gets proven without a shadow of a doubt, they make it a law..... like the Law of Gravity.... as opposed to the Theory of Gravity. So what humans don't have all the answers. Bug deal. At least scientists have gotten off their butts and went out looking for them. If everyone thought like the cavemen that constantly bash Scientists for trying to find answers contrary to the ones Bible Thumpers love so much, we'd still be smearing mud on the faces of the blind instead of inventing braille, training dogs, and coming up with fancy surgeries like Mel Gibson got.

science is serving it's purpose. You are not. Quit being such a baby.

Evolutionist is not a word. And they bother fighting Christianity because Christianity is trying to force everyone to do what they want them to do whether they think its the right thing to do or not.

Evolution and creation do not oppose each other. Christians can, and most of them do, accept evolution as good science. The theory of evoluton does not disprove God, and the existence of God does not negate the theory of evolution. Period.

The reason is simple. It's about the education of our children, and learning the truth about people and the world around us.

If we allow the fundies to take the truth out of schools, and replace it with religious dogma, what is going to happen to the people who learn about DNA to improve lives? How about doctors? How about scientists?

This is a fight for the future of humanity. I hate tom make dramatic statements like that...but it is.

Allowing them to teach religious dogma, and take out scientific fact, is ushering in another dark age.

When you creationists stop trying to mix with religion with science, we'll stop trying to educate you outside the public classroom.

Concede nothing to people who want us to remain in the dark ages-the creationists must be challenged aggressively wherever they seek to spread their misinformation and lies.

If I believed that I had nothing to look forward to but this blink-of-an-eye existence, I would surely not spend even five minutes on my computer, telling people that they come from monkeys and have nothing to look forward to.

Sorry you got so many hostile answers. I guess they're not too "evolved."

What makes you think that all people who accept evolution are atheists or don't believe in an afterlife?
