try using a girls washroom?

SOUND COMES OUT!!.. just try forming the words "hello", or else you'll be unsuccessful somewhat.
... lol its pretty easy, sometimes there doesnt even have to be a circumstance. Youd be surprised just how effective a random hi can be.

I would say just going out with your friends to a public place. That way its not uncomfortable meeting new people. Have fun and act relaxed.
