as some of you who may have helped me in the past may know i really like someone at my work and we breifly went out with each not for long but i still hold these feelings for her she knows i still like her but what should i do she has just split with her bf and i really want to be with her and i am not sure that she wants the same. the reason i don't want to ask her is simply because when we split last time it was awkward between us and we barely spoke for 3 weeks and i couldn't go through that again. what should i do????????????????

I would say, be there as a friend, lend support if you can handle it....without expectations. If you can't handle being friendly not knowing if she will or won't respond in time, then maybe you should take the time to heal your own wounds.

Sometimes being the friends who helps you cope, can backfire. Sometimes the girl will see that as you only providing support, and if you said last time you guys tried something and it didn't work, well maybe things may be uncomfortable for her. She is vulnerable, and she might use that experience as a way of not wanting to deal with that situation.

Also, you're coworkers. Have you thought, what if it doesn't go well a second time..... worst case scenario, THEN you're still stuck having to see this person on a regular basis.

I suggest you weigh your options, risk what you must, but be careful, and take care of you as well. Good luck.
