last night my bf of 2 weeks asked me to marry him i said if he texts me every day and see me at least twice (long distance relationship) until july and gets me a nice ring he can ask me again and ill give him a answer that will make it 5 months of dating is this acceptable as it only a engagement so if it dont work out we can just call the thing off.

Too early to be making deals. In fact, if it's a solid and loving relationship you shouldn't have to make deals at all. Sounds like he is rushing things. Keep in touch over the long distance any way you can--text, phone, visits--and let the question of marriage come up again at a more appropriate time.

Do not call it off, just find out where you went wrong after the 5 months and work on it if you really want it to work

It would be better to tell him you want to take your time seeing as you haven't known each other that long...ask him if he can give you six months to get to know each other and take it from there.
