The Yahoo Answers team must have their heads up their own....... sleeves. I've had a few of those ridiculous "violation notifications" for absolutely no reason whatever. The latest bit of mindboggling lunacy was a "violation" on the grounds of "neither a question nor an answer" The question asked was whether anybody thought that those people who post a question or answer on this site under the name of some well-known famous person like Oprah Winfrey etc." really ARE that person.
My response was simple "HAW HAW HAW HAW HAW"
I sent a response to Yahoo in reply to their violation notification, telling them that my reply was very much an answer that clearly expressed my profound amusement that anybody out there could possibly imagine any of these celebrities have the time to waste, sitting in front of a computer, contributing to Q & A. Such individuals make millions of dollars a year doing what they do for a living , and they spend most of their waking hours doing it, and preparing for their next performance.
Everybody with half a brain knows this, and I could only assume that the person asking that question was being humorous. I replied in the same spirit.
No human at the Yahoo end is evaluating these phony, malicious "abuse" accusations. It's all computerized. You click a place on your screen and some computer at the other end does the rest. A short while ago I caught a post allegedly from someone on the Q & A team, expressing profound apologies that people were misusing the "abuse" option, asking for our patience and assuring members of Q & A that they were doing their best to deal with this situation. I think the only thing that will put a fire under their butts to do just this, would be if a large enough number of people started using this site to post their very strong disgust. Maybe those responsible for creating this site in the first place were having a complete brain block for it to have never crossed their minds for a moment that the "abuse feature" would itself be abused.

You have me confused as I thought Fudgie was still in operation but under the name Mr Fudge. The problem is that some take the q & a to seriously and hit the abuse button when they dont like what they read.
