Well, I guess I have ADD and social anxiety from all these tests I took online. I hate to admit that, but when tons of people tell me that I do and these tests tell me that I am off the charts. Well, I guess I need to see a doctor. But I am mainly going to the doc because of panic attacks where i turn red and tingle all over my body, I start sweating, shaking and cant even speak. It mainly happens when I need to meet someone, talk to someone, call someone, introduce myself, or communicate, or participate with a group. Probably because I know I wont be able to pay attention to what we are doing or talking about. So I kick start my brain to focus and then the panic attach starts. Its super embarassing and I've had it my entire life, as far back as I can remember, Ive always done the same thing, even with attempt after attempt in college and work, but its a constant failure.. And Im sick of it.. Anywho, so im going in tomorrow. Anyone have any suggestions or experience on this?

Make a list of everything you want to talk about. This way, if you get nervous at the doctor, you will know exactly what you want to say.

List what situations it happens in, what symptoms you get, and also print the tests that you took online. Don't feel dumb because you took these tests, that's what they are for!

I've had panic attacks too, and I was taking Zanax and antidepressants. The best advice I can give you is, make sure that the doctor you go see does some blood tests first before they prescribe you any medications. A lot of doctors rush into writing prescriptions without finding the root or cause of the problem. The second advice is that you need to see a therapist because most of the time, you need both medication and therapy. If the doctor you go see wants to put you on medication right a way, find another doctor. A lot of medications have horrible side effects that might make you feel worse. The last advice, try to be your own therapist, do yoga and meditation and work on changing your thinking pattern, you can do it.

Good luck.

you know John im not sure i would go with all the answers on here everybody means well including me but we are not qualified to diagnose your problem or if the tests they gave are the proper ones/there is something wrong and you need to have it seen by a doctor but as for people i wouldnt let that bother me we all get in our pants the same way one leg at a time these attacks sound like you may not feel comfortable with people/dont be embarassed around them they are just people like you and me,some work some go to school and etc.although some do nothing (lol)just relax and say to yourself they have to go to the bathroom too..............good luck
