My mom and I have a lot in common, but we have PLENTY of differences. We have a really great relationship, so as crazy as she can make me sometimes, I actually enjoy finding all of her little traits that I've inherited.

You are not alone on this one !

My mum and i have what i like to call a on-off relationship, and to be honest i think it would be more off, if it wasn't for my daughter keeping us together.

We have nothing in common, no common interests, she never understands what i mean or where I'm coming from and we have very different views on most things!

Her favourite thing to pick on is my parenting ! We argue like cat and dog over that ! And if i don't do things her way there is hell to pay! Which is most of the time.

But at the end of the day she is my mum and i do love her, and she probably would say the same about me.

I had tons of things in common with my mum and tons of difference's but the best thing of all she was my best friend i told her everything even things that u shouldnt tell ur mother, it wasnt allways like that tho when i was a teenager we clashed big time. I found it got better the older i got sadly she died 2 years ago but 1 thing i do know is that what ever she said or done was in my best interest's, but i can only see that now.

Me and my mum have loads in common!

We like the same music, fashion, everything really, but at the same time, we like completly different stuf to so its a good balance!

People always think me and my mum are sisters the way we get on and the way we look, but i don't know if thats good for her, or bad for me!

No. Me and my mum hardly ever agree about anything. Shes very old fashioned in her views and shes set in her ways. This used to cause a lot of friction when I was younger, but things have calmed down a lot between us as Ive gotten older

My mom and I get along very well, and have alot in common. We both have a similar sense of humor, we enjoy similar food, we both share a love of music (although different kinds admittedly), etc. My mom is my mother but I also consider her to be a friend and I feel lucky that we have such a great relationship.

when i was younger iused to think i was addopted because i had nothing in common with my mum, we never agreed on anything ,and i always felt that my younger sister was her favorite. But my sister had everything in common with her and even my dad had more in common with both of them . ijust couldnt understand it .then as iv got alot older and have my own 23yr old son and the way i am with him, i can now see my mother in me in the biggets way .so trust me maybe you will see that yourself and your mum are probably more alike than you could possibly imagine.sorry n all that lol.

Lots!!

I developed my mothers taste for alcohol, and now I have liver problems!
My mother likes to be the life and soul, so do I.
She likes to cook for the family but wont eat the meal herself, I`m the same.
She has issues with her family, thinking her brothers and sisters push her out, so do I.
She is caring and loving and wouldnt hurt a fly, and I like to think I am the same!!
