I said yes.. but she has not confirmed yet. Should I assume it's on? Honestly, I'd rather not go.. so I wouldn't mind if she flaked. But I'm not a flaky person. I'd definteily plan on going if she's up for it. What's the proper ettiquett?

definately give her a call. afterall, she was the one who asked YOU to lunch. not to mention, who wants to wait around at the restaurant for someone who may not even show?

It is absolutely ok to reconfirm. If this is something you want to put off, just call and say" I know we had plans for lunch this week, but would you mind if we rescheduled?" that way you can get off the hook, and will not be guilty of standing your friend up.

I would just confirm it with her in case it slipped her mind.

Anytime you are wondering what another person's plans are, it is best to ask them.

Send her a quick email...it's not your responsibility, but it is the polite thing to do.

I'd call and ask "Are we still on for lunch?"

If she asked you, she should be the one to confirm. If she doesn't, you can blow it off and say you forgot!
