English! There's no question about it......English is the hardest language to learn. I mean think about it..........look at all the various definitions a single word has. For example, the word "rule". You can use that word for so many different ways. Also, look at us..........we take English courses in elementary, middle, high school, and even college. We have to take that much schooling to just to understand how to use our language properly? Honestly, I don't care what anybody says.....English is the hardest language.
I do speak another language by the way (Romanian)......so, I'm not just saying that English is tough just to say.

ENGLISH.
Trust me, I know a lot about this.
I knew Chinese before I knew English, and English is so hard to learn.
It's a misconception that Chinese is harder to learn, but English is much harder because there simply aren't a lot of words in the English language. Check it out if you don't believe me.

Depends on what your native language is. I believe it is easier for a German, for example, to learn English than Chinese, and a Vietnamese will have an easier time learning Chinese than learning English

Chinese... for every pronunciation, there are 4 different tones, and maybe 10-20 words that ha sthe same pronunciation. Also, Chinese does not come in alphabets, but in characters. One will not be able to pronounce the word just by looking at a new word. One single word can mean 3-4 different pronunciations and meanings.

Well for most people, Chinese would be harder to learn. But if you are Japanese or Korean, I suppose English would be harder to learn.

Right now I'm having a hard time with English because its all they teach in my school. However, just looking at the little do-hicky's the Chinese need to read, I'll stick with English.
