Generally, a well stocked freezer will keep the food cold for around 36 to 48 hours depending on the temperature of the room. Try to keep it closed. If the stuff gets above 40 degrees or so, it should NOT be frozen again. So you don't have to waste all of the food if this happens, make a BUNCH of stuff all at once and store it in a cooler or call it an impromptu dinner party.

or fill a bath or sink with cold water if it gets too warm for the milk
