please go look at the picture in my profile (I'm the girl with the dark hair) and tell me whether or not I should get bangs cut or not.. If so, short choppy bangs, or long bangs, or side swept?! Please give me honest advice. Thanks!

A full frontal face shot would be better to figure this out, but I love bangs so I say go for it. I say maybe medium long bangs, if you are going to keep your hair as it is. I think you would have to change your entire hairstyle if you go for the short choppy bangs.

The question really can't be answered for an icon. If you wanted a straightforward opinion, post your pic up. Until then, I can only give you this advice: certain hairlines, hairtypes, and shapes of faces and heads go better with certain bangs. For example, if you have a very ovaline head shape/face shape, straight bangs would look boring. If you have a very pixy look to you, long bangs make you look shaggy. Consult with your local stylist or do some research on head/hair types to see what would look best.
