There are gaps in all branches of study - science, philosophy, & definitely religion which need faith in order to understand. Humanity has tried to search out questions in regards to these branches of knowledge, creating their own definitions of what true knowledge is.
God's truth is evident, however many historians, scientists, philosophers typically depend on their expertise, experience, and knowledge to base their decisions on - therefore; imposing humanistic ideals instead of God's truth.

No, it does not necessarily follow.
If God created, then there is the creation, and there is God. "OUR seeking" could lead us only to the created; though it is evidence of God, it would not be God himself, but a dead end. Finding God in all the creation could be a humanly impossible task.
In a game of hide and seek, it is possible that the seeker can never find the hidden unless he is willing to be found.
The Bible says that God has blinded humanity from finding him (allowed Satan to deceive us -- Rev 12:9). So that all human effort is vain.
But he also says he reveals himself:
"But even to this day, when Moses is read, a veil lies on their heart. Nevertheless when one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away." (2 Corinthians 3:15-16)
"He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him." (John 14:21)

In many religions you'll find some piece of truth, yes, however, that doesn't mean that that piece of truth is sufficient for salvation. You can't get to heaven if you deny Christ as your savior. You need to follow Him to get into heaven. Religions say you have to do a number of good works, or achieve a certain state, or whatever it may be, however this will never get you to heaven. You have to become pure by removing your sins, and the only way to do that is to follow Christ so He'll take them and put them on Himself. Then you become sinless and can get into heaven.

That's the beauty of faith. YOU get to decide what you think. Other people can share their opinions, but obviously no one really knows.
I think science is part of religion. I don't know about Philosophy though? I think that's just more of a way of thinking, not really a religious belief.

Interesting question and I appreciate the thought behind it. I hope you get some respectful answers.
I believe that God has told us how to come to Him. We can choose to do that or choose not to, but we don't get to make it up as we go along.
There is a great purpose and place for all those other disciplines you mention, but they are not paths to God. They serve man, not God. They are gifts from God to man.
