can you paint over white beadboard?

my husband and i are putting up beadboard on the bottom half of our walls and melamine on the top half.I was wondering if you can paint over the white beadboard panels?

Yes, you would probably want to prime it first though.

absolutely! It's just wood with a coat of white paint on it!
