anyone else in here experience the phone/mind games after they breakup or have a fling w/ someone? ive had a couple of chicks now that were fun while they lasted and everything and they insisted on being friends, only thing is when we were friends they would text me stuff like i wanna be w/ u, i need u right now, stuff like that w/ no intensions whatsoever.. its like to see if i still want it, or if im still sprung..and then when u tell them to stop playin games it gets worse so u end up not wanting to talk to them. why do chicks do that?

They are either the teasing type or maybe they changed their minds about just wanting to be friends. At any rate, if you're just friends and it continues, I wouldn't dignify it with a response!

It really isn't healthy to have contact with someone just after a break-up. There are too many unresolved feelings and it only creates more confusion and a prolonging of pain. So, this "Let's be friends" thing just doesn't work-at least not until a lot of time has passed and you have both moved on in your lives. Even then, it is questionable. It isn't just females who do it either. It goes both ways. I had a guy make booty calls to me for two years after we were "over." That will never happen again-I learned! Make the break and cut all contact or there will be festering trouble.

Alot of girls will settle for the fling because they are lonely, or whatever. So, I think alot of the reason that they start calling, texting , etc. Is to see if you still have an interest in them. Even though it was a fling and you both knew it, girls can still end up feeling used and left wondering why you didn't want more.

I know its stupid but a lot of girls need to know that you still want them after the breakup. I have never figured out why and I am a girl. My friends would do this to their ex boyfriends. They would say "lets get together it's been a while" and if they guy was willing they would laugh and back out and then if they guy didn't fall for it they would get furious and try harder. The best thing you can do to make them stop eventually and to make them as mad as they are making you would be to ignore them. I know that worked when a guy did it to my friends. Good luck.

I have been in the same postion for a year and a half now. We broke up and there is still feelings. But we have played so many hurtful games that are irrepairable. Now the games have slowed down and need to stop altogether. I am kind of going through withdrawls. The silence is killing me...but it has to end, and its time to let go, just don't let it go on!!!

this is heav stuff i'm goign through right now, out of a 4 year relationship this is not a good thing, and it wears me down. I don't have a solution for this or else i would be o.k.

I think they can't let go, still have feelings for you and can't actually just be friends. We women are very emotional. Personally I think it's best to end all ties when you break up.

because we dont realize what we have until we lose it, we flirt cause it makes us feel good, and we dont want to lose the chance to bounce back to you when were lonely. were entranced by the idea of secret romance, and passion. ignore them, theyll get the hint eventually.
