Women are typically more emotional than men and will usually experience those emotions sooner than men (there are exceptions).
There is no particular amount of time however, for a man or woman, that they move from liking someone, to really liking them, to loving them...for some it may be weeks, for some months, or longer (if ever)...some experience other emotions in there (lust, infatuation, etc) as well...

This question been around since the beginning of time. Women run on emotion not logic. Guy think to much
with little emotion. So it takes as long as the trust builds
the feeling grows.Guys fall in lust first companion second

That is one of those questions that seriously is realative to the person and the situation at hand. Some relationships progress fast some take time, some people like to take things slow others wanna fall in love and get married tomorrow. You really have to get to know the person and know that it is purely relative to that person and the relationship that you have unless you can find a magic potion that will do the job

Honestly, I think men fall in love faster. Men are always pursuing women, right? Men also tend to fall in love with their friends, and women not so much.
