Only Sal is developed - a lot of European-style "vacation villages". Very windy year-round. Average annual temperature is about 20, average high about 26.

I think they're starting direct flights from the UK but before it was a pain to get to and expensive (flying through Lisbon). It's actually much cheaper to fly from Boston or Brazil!
