Hi all
I have this girlfriend which I love and we spend the weekend together and some days in the week. She told me that one of her friends (female) has a staff party to go to Saturday but she can only bring one person. Should I let her go with her friend or should I tell her I would like to spend the Saturday night with her. I would understand if she had to go overseas on business or family but I don’t think she should go out a Saturday night with a friend and I am there bored at home.
Need advice on what to do

Let her make the call.
You two need the space, it's unhealthy to crowd each other. She's going to go out w/ her friends on the weekend in the future. She NEEDS to and if you trust her, there shouldn't be any problems. You need the same thing.

Alright, it is fair enough that she loves her boyfriend, but she is being a total control freak. I mean, she is depriving her boyfriend of a close friend! I mean, what if your friend ends up resenting her for this? I am getting the impression she does not trust him, at all. If you haven't already, one of you try speaking to her. Make it clear that you two are just friends, and nothing more whatsoever. You have never given his girlfriend a reason not to trust you. She really needs to trust her boyfriend more than she does, because after all, the best relationships are based on trust. She is invading his privacy too! I mean, I'm surprised he is still with her, to be honest. My point is, this has to stop. You've been friends with him for years, and his girlfriend has no right to come between you like this. When and if you speak to her, be calm and gentle (I know it will be hard, believe me), so she doesn't feel threatened or ganged up on. Otherwise, if you feel like there's nothing else you can do, then your friend needs to stand up to her. Invdaing his privacy, not allowing you two to have some time alone to catch up and speak, AND having to be present ALL THE TIME when you're around? She is showing that her faith and trust in him is frail. You're right. This IS a bit too much.

Gee no...make the wench stay home and do your dishes!
Holy cow man...relax. Watch the game. Invite a buddy over. Let the lady go and have a nice night with friends. She'lll appreciate it, you'll be happier that she is happy, and life will go on.
OR
You can force her to stay home. She can resent you. She can also go out anyways, then when she does, she can find someone who will really appreciate her and not feel like he can order her around...therefore leaving you alone for a significant other amount of Saturdays without her.
But thats just my opinion

Having friends outside of a relationship is totally normal. You have to trust each other and allow some reasonable free time for friends. Don't be so overbearing that she's not allowed to have friends in order to keep you happy. If this is an isolated instance, give her some friend time. If the situation was reversed, wouldn't you hate to think that you couldn't go? The Golden Rule applies to alot of things. This is one of them.

Rule #1 Do not tell a woman what to do
If you tell her what to do she is not going to think it is sweet. She is going to think it is controlling and rude. Further more her friends will think you are an ***. If her friends hate you, you won't be staying around for long.
Suck it up and let her have her fun :)

How often does she go out with her friends? I say if she doesn't go out with her friends very often let her go with the friend. Also, time apart for couples can be beneficial. Show her you'll do anything for her. That's the best way. Believe me...she'll miss you ; )

let her go, you dont run her life. you can survive one night alone and let her have fun with her freind, its not like shes goin to stop making plans you every saturday, this is just one day

Let her go - it will give you guys a break - which will just kindle her attraction for you, and she will respect you because you are so understanding. yeah. Don't let her do it all the time - however.
